How do I post a job?
Sign up free, tap Post a job, describe what you need, where and when, and publish. Every matching provider nearby is alerted straight away and you choose who to work with.
Do I need to download an app?
No. KaziGo works in any mobile browser and can be added to your home screen in two taps. You can also post jobs and get alerts entirely over WhatsApp.
Where is KaziGo available?
KaziGo is live in Africa and in 13 other African countries — Zimbabwe, South Africa, Zambia, Botswana, Mozambique, Namibia, Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Rwanda, Nigeria, Ghana, Côte d'Ivoire, Senegal. One account works wherever you travel.
Safety and verification
How are providers verified?
Every provider submits a government ID and a live selfie, plus trade licences where the work requires them. Our team reviews each application before the profile goes live.
How is KaziGo safer than hiring through a WhatsApp group?
Providers are ID-verified, ratings come from real completed jobs, and the agreed price and conversation are recorded in the app. If something goes wrong our team can step in — that is not possible in a group chat.
What if a job goes wrong?
Raise a dispute from the job. Our support team reviews the messages, the agreed scope and the ratings history from both sides before deciding on an outcome.
Can I share my location with someone I trust?
Yes. Safety tracking lets you share a live link with a next-of-kin contact for the duration of a job, and the link stops sharing your location once the job is resolved.
Pricing and negotiation
How is the price decided?
The provider proposes a price for your job and you can counter-offer before accepting. Nothing is binding until both sides agree, and the agreed figure is recorded against the job.
What does KaziGo cost?
Using KaziGo is free for clients and providers. An optional $1 a month Premium membership gives providers extra visibility.
How much do common jobs cost?
Prices vary by trade, city and urgency. Each hire page on KaziGo shows a typical range for that trade in that city, so you know roughly what to expect before you post.
How much does a painter cost?
Most painting jobs run between US$40 and US$400 depending on the number of rooms, surface prep and whether paint is included. On KaziGo painters quote on your job and you can counter-offer before accepting.
How much does a plumber cost?
Most plumbing call-outs land between US$15 and US$120 — a leaking tap or blocked drain sits at the lower end, a geyser or pipe replacement at the higher end, plus parts.
How much does an electrician cost?
Electrical work usually costs between US$20 and US$150, depending on whether it is a socket or light fitting, a fault trace, or a full distribution-board job. Licensed trades upload their certificates to KaziGo.
How much does a mechanic cost?
Mechanic jobs generally run from US$20 for a service or diagnostic up to US$250 for bigger repairs, excluding parts. Mobile mechanics who come to you quote on the same job.
How much does catering cost?
Catering for an event typically ranges from US$60 for a small gathering to US$800 or more for a wedding, and is usually quoted per head. Caterers on KaziGo send you a full quote before you commit.
How do I find a trusted pro near me?
Post the job free — every verified pro in that trade near you is alerted instantly by app, WhatsApp and email — or browse the trade page for your city and message someone directly. Every provider is ID and selfie verified and carries ratings from completed jobs.
Payments
How do I pay the provider?
You pay the provider directly — mobile money, card or cash, whichever you both prefer. Every job keeps a record of the agreed amount so there is always a paper trail.
When do providers get paid?
On completion, directly by the client. KaziGo does not hold your money.

How do I start getting work on KaziGo?
Sign up, choose your trades and service area, upload your ID and a selfie, and add photos of past work. Once approved you get alerted to every matching job nearby by app, WhatsApp and email.
Does it cost anything to list my services?
No. Listing, applying for jobs and messaging clients are free. Premium at $1 a month is optional and only adds visibility.
How do I get more jobs?
Reply fast, keep a complete profile with real photos of your work, quote clearly, and turn up on time. Ratings from completed jobs are the biggest factor in who clients pick.
Can I use KaziGo without a smartphone app?
Yes. You can receive job alerts and reply entirely over WhatsApp.
