KaziGo Legal

Payment & Refund Policy

Effective date: 11 May 2026

This policy explains how payments work on KaziGo, the fees we charge, when refunds may apply, and how disputes are handled.

1. Supported Payment Methods

Payments on KaziGo may be made via:

  • Mobile money (including EcoCash and other Zimbabwean mobile money operators).
  • Paynow and other supported payment gateways.
  • Bank transfers, where enabled.
  • Other third-party providers we may add over time.

2. Fees

KaziGo may charge:

  • A service fee or commission on transactions, paid by providers from their wallet.
  • Verification, withdrawal or payment-processing fees as disclosed in-app.

Current fees are shown in the platform before a transaction is confirmed.

3. Provider Wallet

Providers may be required to maintain a positive wallet balance, funded via supported payment methods, to claim jobs. Wallet activity is visible in the provider dashboard.

4. Refund Rules

Refunds may apply where:

  • The agreed service was not delivered.
  • Fraud or misrepresentation is confirmed.
  • A dispute is decided in the user's favour through our dispute process.

Refunds are returned via the original payment method where possible. Processing time depends on the payment provider.

5. Cancellations

Cancellations are governed by our cancellation rules in-app. Late cancellations may attract a fee, deducted from the cancelling party's wallet or future earnings.

6. Disputes

All payment disputes must be raised through the KaziGo dispute system. We will review the evidence and may issue a full refund, partial refund, or take account action. See our Dispute Resolution policy.

7. Taxes

Users are responsible for their own tax obligations on income earned through KaziGo, in line with Zimbabwean tax law and any other jurisdictions that apply to them.
