KaziGo Legal

Trust & Safety

Effective date: 11 May 2026

KaziGo invests in trust and safety so that clients can hire with confidence and providers can work with peace of mind.

1. What KaziGo Does

  • Verifies the identity of providers, including ID and selfie checks.
  • Monitors transactions and activity patterns for signs of fraud or abuse.
  • Restricts, suspends or removes accounts that violate our policies.
  • Maintains a dispute resolution process for jobs that go wrong.
  • Stores key communications in-platform so they can be reviewed if needed.

2. Stay Safe — for Clients

  • Hire providers with verified profiles and visible reviews where possible.
  • Keep payments and messaging on KaziGo so they are protected by our policies.
  • Confirm job details (scope, price, timing) in writing before work starts.
  • Do not share PINs, passwords or one-time codes with any provider.

3. Stay Safe — for Providers

  • Confirm the job address and client identity before travelling.
  • Be cautious of clients asking to deal off-platform or to be paid via unusual channels.
  • Trust your instincts — decline jobs that feel unsafe.
  • Never pay to apply. KaziGo never charges job seekers to be hired, interviewed or to "secure" a job. Anyone asking for such a fee is a scammer.
  • No wallet, no withdrawal fees. KaziGo does not hold your money in a wallet and never asks you to pay to withdraw or "release" funds. Anyone claiming to be KaziGo and asking for a withdrawal fee is an impersonator — don't pay, and report them to us.

3a. Deposit & contractor scams

  • Avoid paying large upfront deposits (for example to "book a drilling slot" or "buy materials") before work starts.
  • Agree milestones in the job chat and pay as each stage is completed.
  • Only hire ID-verified pros and check their ratings from completed jobs.

4. Avoid Off-Platform Deals

Off-platform deals are at your own risk. KaziGo cannot mediate disputes, recover payments or apply fraud safeguards to transactions that happen outside the platform.

5. Report a Problem

Report suspicious users, content or messages through the in-app reporting tools or email info@kazi-go.com. If you are in immediate danger, contact local emergency services first.
